Liam O'Donnell writes fiction and non-fiction for young readers. In ten years of writing for children, his work has appeared in books, magazines, newspapers and on television screens across North America and Europe.
The author of a daily blog about the writing life, Liam has created original comics for A&C Black Publishers and OWL Magazine (his Max Finder you-solve-it mysteries were recently voted "Best Regular Feature" by Owl readers across Canada), developed educational radio plays for the BBC, written journalism for the National Post newspaper and Canadian magazines such as Today's Parent, and adapted TV scripts for Kids Can Press. He was recently described by an American educational publisher as "Canada's go-to guy for graphic non-fiction," having written graphic and traditional educational non-fiction material on subjects as diverse as Pirates and Photosynthesis.
He lives in Toronto and is at work on several graphic fiction and non-fiction projects.
